I’ve practiced medicine in different areas of the country and come across some interesting cultural traditions when it comes to things people put into their eyes. Surprisingly, you can’t find any of this stuff in medical textbooks.
For example, the treatment of eye irritation or pink eye in one culture is lemon juice. Yes, I’ve had patients come into the ER with very irritated eyes. When asked what happened, they told me that their eye was bothering them, so they squeezed a lemon into it. Ouch! Not only is lemon juice unlikely to treat any ailment of the eye, but it may also cause some serious eye irritation. I would not recommend trying this at home.
Another treatment for eye infection and irritation I’ve run into is urine. I do not know where this one came from, but I also advise against putting your own urine or anyone else’s urine into your eye to treat anything. At best, you’ll end up with an irritated eye. At worst, you will get a nasty eye infection with a STD like gonorrhea or chlamydia. Yes, this is not only possible, but it happens all the time. In one year, I think I treated at least five people who had STD eye infections from putting urine into the eye.
More bodily fluids…
Another thing you should not get into your eye is saliva. You may have heard that if you run out of contact lens solution, you should use your saliva instead. This is not a good idea. Contact lens solution and saline are sterile and keep nasty bugs out of your eyes. If you haven’t heard, the human mouth is probably the dirtiest place in your body and contains scores of virulent bacteria. If you put saliva onto your contacts or in your eyes, you risk getting a really bad eye infection.
Semen is also another bodily fluid you should avoid getting into your eye. Some out there actually want to do this to satisfy their sexual fantasies. I try not to judge other people’s beliefs and practices, but if you perform this act, the recipient will end up with an irritated, painful, and red eye. Plus, you risk the same potential STD eye infections that come with getting urine into the eye.
Food products
Recently, I learned that some people believe that putting honey into the eye can cause the eye color to lighten. I guess people will go to extremes to turn their brown eyes blue, but unfortunately there is no way to do this. Sorry, honey will not lighten your eye color. In fact, any homemade eye solution (including homemade contact lens solution) carries the risk of serious eye infections like acanthamoeba. So not only will honey water keep your eyes brown, but you could also end up with a nasty eye infection that is treated with pool cleaner. (Yes, you read that right — acanthamoeba is treated by putting pool cleaner into your eye — double ouch!)
Have you heard of any other remedies for the eye that you are curious about? Please leave a comment below.

The practice of Ayurveda recommends putting warm ghee in eyes for improving vision or if there was some trauma affecting the eyes. It’s called netra basti. Check it out. Rose water in eyes is also effective for cooling the eyes. There are eye drops used for clearing vision containing honey, castor oil and an herb called trifala. Let me know your thoughts on this after doing some research.
I would not recommend putting anything into your eye that is not made in sterile conditions and tested by the rigorous FDA approval process for new drugs. The results of mixing drugs and compounds in non-sterile environments can be devastating to the eye (http://fxn.ws/RmHvBX).
I understand that but you’re completely missing the point.
I have been washing my eyes with fresh morning urine for the last 20 years with the only loss of my spectacles! Please do not misguide people if you do not know!
Urine is sterile its called urinotherapy or amoralie research about it on bing.com
WHY ARE YOU WASHING YOUR EYES WITH THE THING YOU URINATE. YOU HAVE A MENTAL DISEASE FOR SURE.
Why would a human with a brain put something they urinate into their eyes?
I do not know who is dumb enough to put urine into their eyes. How can anybody with a mind put something dirty that they urinate into something so sensitive.
lol
Thats funny cuz i have used honey – water eyedrops to lighten my eye color to hazel from dark brown
Also we all know how rigorous is the FDA approval process looking at all the recent news about Propecia side effects
Really Danny? So did your eyes change from dark brown to hazel with honey and water? It’d be great to know! Thanks! 🙂
The rigorous FDA approval process for new drugs is just like… UFO disclosure?
Let me find a comparison. Law? Lots of unconstitutional ones, very contradictory.
Also honey is anti-bacterial agent for the eyes and it keeps them hydrated so you have to blink less. Yes, let’s compare the FDA approval to the ancient truth.
Honey is not good for any pink eyes, conjunctivitis are formed by alot bacterias and viruses if you put honey in the eyes bacterias feed on sugar particles…plus sugar does support vision in any way.
So many people had tried the honey water sollution to lighten up their eyes, and without any infection. They did it,how could that be?
People do stupid things all the time without the worst possible thing happening, but doing something stupid just makes it more likely the worst will happen.
Wat about foodcoloring? I know I probly sound stupid saying this but can you put foodcoloring in your eyes?
It would be a bad idea to put food coloring into your eyes. First, the solution is not sterile — so you would be risking an eye infection by putting the drops in your eyes. Also, the chemicals in the food coloring could be damaging to your eyes, cause burns, etc.
Breast milk for pink eye?? I just read that be4 finding this site. Yes or no??
No. Breast milk will not cure pink eye, sorry.
what about putting carnation cream in your eyes if you feel something is in it?
I’ve actually used breast milk for pink eye and it worked great. It cleared up within a few hours. It was very soothing also. I have friends that have had great success with this method too.
Yes breast milk *does* cure pink eye. Breast milk has antibodies galore in it. When I was breastfeeding my son got pink eye and then so did I. I used 2 drops of fresh, body temp breastmilk in the affected eyes three times a day and in 3 days things were fine.
Breastmilk DOES cure pinkeye…(maybe he means it doesn’t cure viral?…if he means that, he should have said so however) In any case, viral or other, whatever my kids’ pink eye and mine were from in the years I used to use it successfully while nursing all my four babies who are grown now, it ALWAYS took care of the worst cases in about 20 minutes or less. There is SO much misadvice in the medical community today. (.i.e., you have no idea how many doctors use to tell me I was compromising my babies’ healths by breastfeeding them any time past one year old? And don’t forget the years during the ’60’s and 70’s when they said formula was much better than breastmilk…) However, I am much appreciative for the world of medicine..vaccines and antibiotics, etc., when needed, but contrary to their own opinion, science and medicine are NOT dependable nor all-knowing, at ANY time in history, including now.)
ABSOLUTELY YES. it does work!
My culture uses breast milk for pink eye and yes it works. I’ve used it with my kids and it cleared up in a day.
Me too! It heals a LOT of things!
Found this site because I was investigating a recent aruveydic (sp?) ‘healer’s ‘ advice to but ghee in my eyes at night. I wondered about the issue of it not being sterile…glad I checked.
Glad you found the information helpful.
The thing is if it’s sterile it isn’t doing anything. Unless you just got something in your eye. Aruveydic, is not sterile. No one said it was. It has stuff that does benefit you. Do your own research. If you notice he says at worst you’ll get a STD. If you don’t have any, you have nothing to worry about.
Breastmilk is actually recommended by MD’s in UK for treating infant conjunctivitis. It contains high concentration of secreted antibodies as well as antiinflammatory components that effectively clear eye infections. Acanthamoeba infections have nothing to do with honey and are almost solely a problem of contact lens users.
you say no but hundred of people say they did it and it worked…the FDA doesn’t approve many things that work.
It’s true that there are many things “that work” that the FDA hasn’t approved. The job of the FDA is more than making sure that novel therapies work. They want to know if a certain treatment is as effective as or better than what’s currently out there. They are also tasked with making sure that those novel therapies are safe for general consumption.
FDA = Food & Drug Administration – like they are even trustworthy. Food is full of approved cancer causing chemicals and drugs are pushed like candy from adults to children. Puhleeze. Anything that lay outside of the FDA’s approval that is wholesome, holistic and proven beneficial will never be acknowledged. This is why I don’t trust anyone who puts all their faith in our FDA.
The worst thing i have ever put into my eyes are my FDA approved contact lenses.
Honey absolutely works to treat eye infections (and many other infections too). I was in the amazon in Peru and my eye became red and painful, convinced i would need to go to the hospital. One of the locals insisted I try the honey and it worked within hours.
It’s cheap, easy to access and WORKS!!!! Possibly why it is not FDA approved. Seems a bit weird to put such a thick solution into your eye, but i guess the first time i coated my eye in plastic (contact lens) it felt even weirder, and I didnt listen to my body then and continued to do this for years.

coffee for pink eye ? black cold coffee ?
I would not recommend putting hot or cold coffee into your eye
So I got a lot of espresso grinds in both of my eyes, one more than the other(stupid pressurized can with a pull tab). I can’t find any info on the effects, I’d say I got about a tea-tablespoon in each eye. Should I be worried about any long-term effects other than my eyes being sore and tender after a thorough washing?
Yes I’m from Puerto Rico and my grandma always use very black coffee for pink eyes and also for streptococcus in the mouthand it’s because coffee have like 8 different types of acid and they kill the bacteria I hope this is useful but apple cider vinegar mix with bath soap is good for mersa just clean the are with that
Juices from yogurt…. for pink eye.
I had not heard of yogurt juices before for pink eye, but it doesn’t seem like a safe thing to do.
Is anything ever safe to you? In case you haven’t noticed most FDA approved things do more harm than good with all their messed up side effects… If it works it works
Pingback: More Uses for Urine: Your Surprising Suggestions – News Watch
If putting urine is dangerous, then why is Gomuthra used often by people in India and they get cured? My mother was starting to have eye blindness with flash and she simply used natural ghee and now the doctor said she is fine when she went back for check up. I think ancient medicines were more effective then used by modern medicine. Modern medicine has side effects, while Ayurveda has none of what I recall. I mean think about it, people these days are getting more cancers then in ancient times since they used pure and simple cures. Now medicines comes with side effects. Pretty sad…. Anyone can email me: dilshad40@hotmail.com
Dilshad, i don’t mean to be rude, but it might help if you think that what we call now modern medicine was once home remedies that worked. Also, I strongly doubt that the number of people suffering from cancer is caused by medicine rather that living stressful lives in a polluted environment or heredity. Modern medicine has side effects, but it usually has some prime effects that actually do eradicate the illness. Im not familiar with Ayurveda remedies, but i don’t think it has a better alternative for insulin or current cancer treatments.
Modern medicine cures only the part of a disease, Ayurveda, goes inside the root to permanently cure it. Diabetes is said to not have cure, but cow urine is proven to work. The govt does not want you to know about it, that is why they go against it
If cow urine worked, wouldn’t it be easier for the government to sell this cure under a different name and a higher price to get profits AND cure people at the same time, instead of just selling insulin shots? Imagine this, instead of insulin, people buy more cake, they spend more, consume more, bigger prophits. What reason do you think the government has to keep secret from us the benefits of cow urine, if there are any? Also, i think, if it was tested and peer reviewed and found that cow urine helps, it would be pretty hard to keep it a secret.
In conclusion, alternative treatments may complement normal medicine, but they can’t substitute it.
Yes the government can do that but that is what the whole idea is, they WONT, because this is labeled as Ayurvedic from ancient times. Ayurveda will cure from the ROOT of the problem. From only the top, the modern medicine would work along with side effects. Think about it for a moment, today your using modern medicine but it always has some kind of a side effect. When you use ayurveda cure it dissolves it’s workings inside the root to fix the problem. In the world which we live in, we disgust urine…let’s be honest we do. We as a society cannot accept that urine has benefits. My mother’s eyes are cured now, now she’s drinking cow’s urine to solve her diabetics problem. After she is done with the ayurvedic medicine, she is going to go back and see if the disease still exists or not. If it does, then that means the government does not like Ayurvedic cure for a simple reason….since you will stop coming to them for $$$.
So can we use urine fir red irritated eyes yes or no
U r crazy….. Urine of cow? Cow is a mammal like us or any other. The urine is waste product containing urea and uric acid, salts and other chemicals and toxin… I dare u to put it in ur eye and still be having healthy eyes. Superstitious people do stuff like that. Think logically!!
Your already denying without knowing facts. Google “benefits of cow urine” you will find many benefits proven fact. The problem is, the West believes in medicine with side effects. My mother already went for eye examination and her eyesight improved. She used cows urine you can’t just spurt out bias comments without finding out facts. How did my mothers eyesight improve? She wears glasses and day by day it’s getting better.
Hi Dilshad 😉 Could you please share how ur mother used the cow urine for her eyes? Do u just collect the urine and put one drop in ur eyes? Please do let me know. I am interested in losing my glasses too. Thanks 🙂
Urine is 100% sterile.
You cringe and accuse someone of being crazy for suggesting the use of cow urine. But when a western pharmaceutical company package pregnant horse urine into a little pill called Premarin that is totally acceptable. Although I doubt the millions of menopausal women who are prescribed Premarin have any idea they are taking horse urine – because you know ‘thats crazy’.
A waste product urine may be. But it is a sterile product which has demonstrated health benefits (as already proven by Pfizer).
I know this is a icky thought for alot of people, but before you accuse someone of being crazy or dismissing the idea entirely, I invite you to be open until proven otherwise.
Urine inside the bladder is sterile, so if you harvest it directly from the bladder with sterile equipment, it is sterile. If it passes through the urethra as it does during urination, it is no longer sterile as the urethra contains all of the normal flora bacteria and viruses as well as the abnormal ones such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea, if the person or animal has those.
It’s isn’t waste as from your rear end. It’s a excess of good stuff your body doesn’t need at the time. People have been doing this and have benefits. Do your own reserach. Or just keep drinking the fluoride… You know for your “teeth”.
Hello Veyron1995,
I would like to direct your attention to something important here. Here are different types & breeds of cows here. The cow urine that Dilshad is referring here is of local Indian cow which is otherwise also called Gir cow (not the genetically modified Jersey cows). The Gir cows have a hump on their back.
You would not believe but the hump does a great deal of magic. By magic I mean scientific benefits.
the urine of these cows contain chemicals, which are necessary for human body. Their deficiency can cause several problems – minor to major ones like cancer.
The urine of these cows contains these minerals, chemicals in a form that can be directly digested by human body.
No other animal (even cows of other breed) or human’s urine has chemical composition of this kind. Indian Medical Association has done several tests on this. Unfortunately, the Sonia Gandhi led government was not interested in this. The only things it was interested in was scams & spreading evangelism.
Anyways, coming to the point, if you want, you can get the urine tested. But make sure that the urine is fresh. Even a cow’s urine, if older than 1 minute, would get contaminated & lose it medicinal properties.
Also remember, that it is advisable to drink milk of this cow only. In Australia, they have already started selling this milk under a different category – A1 milk.
If you don’t believe me, check out with yourvfriends that you may have in Australia.
The are thousand of benefit of this Girnar cow. There are thousand of reasons which have led to Ayurved terming this type of cows as ‘holy’ in our culture.
I’ve used honey and water in my dark brown eyes and they’re now hazel with no infection soooooo idk.
really??? did it really change to a light color??? I was really hesitating to put some in my eyes. can I see some pictures of you
Honey is an ancient eye treatment method going back to Aristotle. There are studies written by doctors documenting the very use of honey where all other conventional FDA drugs failed to cure eye infections. It was the honey in the end that was the cure. There is incredible amounts of credible information regarding using pure, raw honeydew honey as eye drops to treat many various eye ailments as well as internal disorders. This honey is loaded with antibacterial properties and may serve as an antidote to superbugs. Many doctors today do not want to give credence to holistic methods. It is a financial loss for them. They loose kickback money when they don’t push drugs. You rarely hear about the benefits of natural remedies, ie., honey, wheat grass, essential oils, because it’s not a drug that the pharmaceuticals are profiting from. PERIOD.
I had read that mixing vinigar and water will cure pink eye. I was stupid enough to try it and now i have less clear vision and ptosis in that eye. But i dont knoe if it was actually from chemical burn or the exstreme pink eye i had, nor do i know how to fix it. This has been at least 5 months ago and its still not normal.
What about using your own urine, is that healthy
Enough on this now

In theory, if your urine is sterile, it should be safe. However, I have seen several cases of gonorrhea and chlamydia eye infections from patients who put their own urine into their eye — and they unknowingly had a STD. So even if you think you are clean, you may not be.
I used honey drops in my eye and it does make them lighter so what are you trying you say?
I have really enjoyed your comments and contributions and I thought about so many things that has happend without scientific xplanations. Like the Blind seeing or even D dead rising from death. Life has got more to do with faith than just what we think or see. But let’s not miss out on the primary issue which is Medcine/Science and what is universaly acceptable in d field. Some have even claimed to cure HIV but we need not doubt if that is by faith. We are adviced not to use xpired drugs but yet we encourage people to use untested Urine or even other unaprovd solutions in their eyes. That would be misleading!
Hi! Is there any risk by putting carrot juice into your eyes, thank u.
I would not do it. You could get an infection or cause irritation.
Thank u, & could please tell me if there’s anything l can use to whiten my eye, they are very red, but I don’t smoke please
av used urine in curing many diseases and it worked and am using it in my eye now
I read that rosewater helps eye irritation and swelling. Is this so?
i tried putting honey into my eyes three times a day and they actually lightened from really dark brown to golden brown. So I would say that putting honey in your eye works, and the honey also cleaned out ALL of my eye boogers. Then I guess honey is good for your eyes, as long as you are not allergic.
I just had my baby’s diaper urine into my eyes, swallowed at least 1 teaspoon and some gets into my nose (thanks to my s**t husband) i can still feel it irritating my eyes. My question is what other bad effects of that aside from eye irritation?
Just wanted to say I LOVED this article and was relieved to see someone providing sensible information. Also shocked… urine. Yuck!!!!
I have read about yogurt, tea bags, honey, coconut, lemon, lime, plum. It all seems so foolish.
An optometrist told me sometimes conjunctivitis just has to take its course and can eventually resolve itself without chlorsig. Is this true?
I was expressing my concerns for my 3 month old baby and two year old who have been on chlorsig for the recommended time but it didn’t fully resolve. The baby seems to have a virus. Whilst the toddler has had constant ear infections (despite having a grommet) and hence has a severe conductive hearing loss in his one good year so now has a bone conduction hearing aid!
To an extent I wish they’d just take samples of the discharge so they can be certain and go from there. I am partly wondering if the chlorsig was working but they were keeping each other infected despite all our efforts to reduce this (like changing sheets, towels etc). After doing research I’m thinking our doctor should have encouraged us to start with saline and keeping eyes clean before starting the eye drops. This seems to be the preferred approach?
I am now starting to wonder if the two year old is having conjunctivitis due to his runny nose and whether that’s from allergy etc. And whether the baby just has blocked tear ducts. Neither of them look red around the actual eye ball just lots of discharge in the corners of the eyes.
Hmm if only I could just take them to hospital, have them quarantined, cured and home.
one of my friend told to use sperm on eye for the treatment of pinkeye. Yes, sseriously he said that. Is the use of sperm harmful for our eye ?
Semen can cause a lot of irritation to the eye (conjunctivitis/red painful eye). Also, if the semen is infected you could get a nasty gonorrhea or chlamydia infection. So I would advise against sperm in the eye.
I finally succeeded in convincing doctors to do a swab test and it came back as bacterial. So thanks for the advice.
An interesting observation though. I’ve noticed using a saline only nasal spray (since my baby is quite snuffly) really has helped in clearing up the discharge coming from the eyes. Just wondering if there has been any research on the use of nasal sprays when treating bacterial conjunctivitis.
The doctor has decided not to prescribe chlorsig as she thinks it will clear up with saline cotton balls.
Thank you so much for talking about this. Let me tell you why I found this page….I have new guy and though not on purpose , there have been a few times semen got in my eyes and each time I did end up with extremely bad, irritated red painful eyes. I did not find anything else online because I did not want to end up with a porn site or computer virus. Thank you, now I can prove to the boyfriend why we need to not let this happen again. (it’s not like he was doing it on purpose) By the way I did just get my annual checkup with gyn. and had them screen me for STDs. Thank Goodness that is ok. But I can imagine how bad it would have been otherwise. For the non belivievers, I used to work in optical office and learned what eye infections look like , when people use saliva on contact lens. Trust me , you do NOT want to get your saliva in your eye. P.S. it is easier to catch a cold or flu virus by touching your nose or eyes , than to kiss someone with a virus.
I forgot to mention, and would like an opinion. My doctor rx’d me antibiotic eye drops the first time this happened. Neomycin plus something else… but I did not tell him about the sperm thing. Not only would I have been super embarrassed, but I myself had not realized the connection. Only that it seemed when I began the ‘affair’ my eyes started hurting and turning red. (the semen in the eye thing does not happen each time btw) I also in the first bout, had what I assumed was a burst blood vessel which has since, cleared up. You know when the sclerera turns blood red. I am curious if I should tell the doctor my newfound info, and when semen does cause the painful red eye, is there a treatment such as antibiotics, or just anti inflammatories , or saline? thanks.
Just artificial tears/saline should be fine.
Before the FDA came along pink eye was incurable. Whenever someone got pinkeye they would treat it with breast milk, lemon juice, coconut oil, honey, saltwater, and other similarly hideous toxins. They had no idea they were poisoning themselves with these “treatments”. The pink eye appeared to be cured, but that was only because the symptoms went away, often within a day. What they didn’t realize was that without proper FDA approved pharmacological treatment, they had no hope for recovery. Here’s the scary part: Because they were healthy and free from infection, they had no idea that they were a real and persistent threat to the health and well being of everyone around them. They just continued on with their daily lives, often bragging about their “cure” and furthering the spread of dangerous misinformation. These were the same barbaric rogues that would go so far as to feed breast milk to infants, even newborns! Not only did this milk come from another person’s body, it was full of live bacteria and it was never even sterilized! Thank God we have the FDA now.
This is the best comment yet! I can speak from personal experience that both my 5 month old and I just got over bacterial conjunctivitis. I was prescribed antibiotic eye drops and my friend showed me a research article on using breast milk for eye and ear I affections. I started putting a couple drops of fresh milk(straight from my breast) into my baby boy’s eye. Every time he nursed. I know babies have much heartier immune systems than adults, but whether coincidence or not, his eyes cleared up faster than mine!
***infections sorry for the typo
Isnt murine for the eyes…Urine?
visionmd I really admire ur patience. .Some of us very badly treated..BTW..In India cow urine(gomutra) sell in bottles.Thousands of people drink it..nd it’s branded…My uncle Have been using it for 25 years…He has no diabetes…sugar. heart problems..If its faith than we r very very happy with it..
Ayurveda said that our spectacles are remove in few days by doing or by keeping the saliva in your eyes but you said that it is not safe for us.
carrot extracts
What happen if you put your salaiva in your eyes
Saliva has a lot of bacteria in it. It is possible to get an eye infection if saliva goes into your eye.
These FDA jackasses don’t approve of anything cheap because that’s how they get their money. If honey and lime or lemon juice is so unsafe how did our ancestors lived way longer than people are living? Their diet and their medicine was 100% NATURAL and they would live past 100 years and now with all this science advances people die at 65-75 years of age. Of course our diet sucks too but I have a lot of faith on remedies first and then if it’s something really serious I might consider a doctor
Sir I you saying that honey did not have positive effect on eye.
honey does work to lighten your eyes! lots of people are saying the same in the comments but you chosen to ignore responding?! why?
What about fresh cow’s milk does help to reduce eye irritation? Pliz help
What about these arbutin drops that lighten your eyes? I have the before and after pictures right here, and also the link to the website. https://isis-cosmeceuticals.com/assets/images/Iris_Lightener_Info.pdf

For pink eye you can reduce the symptoms by putting breastmilk into the eye. Breastmilk is anti-bacterial I have heard.
Not everyone has access to breastmilk of course.
Hey, can I wash my eyes with green tea? Is it safe? I actually have chalizion and its for the past 3 years. Would the anti oxdidents in green tea be effective in reducing those?
It will be a great help if you reply! 🙂
Wow, the comments on here are hillarious. I’m glad Dr. VisionMed is patient.
urine in eye????comon why dont you put poo too ?the risk of infection is soo hight…..
but for the honey yea its work ,i try 2 month im not blind
Whoops, last night I put saliva in my eye because my eye was completely dried to a crisp and I really needed sleep and I didn’t have any water and I couldn’t make my eye water… I hope I’ll be fine because my eye looks fine at the moment and I can see fine… And not to mention the fact that I’ve done it before. I should stop doing it now I guess.
I am short sighted and I want to know wether laser surgery is the best or wether there is any cure to it I want to quit wearing glasses but I hardly see people who are far. In addition to that Want to know if contacts are really helpful
can breast milk cure red eye or conjunctivitis?
I really want to try putting some mixture of honey and water in my eyes to have a light brown eyes because it was dark in color. Is it really safe? I was really confused because some people said that it was really effective and others said its not.
In the arctical they said that it does not help.On the bright side brown eyes are pretty 🤗🤗🤗

How about jicama juice as eye drop?
Would milk be alright if you were to put it in your eye to help with chlorine in your eyes
Finally found a great site
am having short sighted, what can l do?
The FDA doesnt approve things that would cure you .cuz if you cure everyone how will doctors and pharmacies keep making there money..hence ..they approve ciggarets that cause cancer but people were not able to smoke weed ..which I believe hasn’t caused cancer but I’s given by doctors sometimes for use of whatever. And now that the government is taking control of weed guarantee theyll be putting stuff in it that will eventually cause something wrong with you. Man Is greedy ..theyll never give us the natural cures cuz theyll be outta business
I have successfully cure my pink eyes with my urine…no bullshit, works everytime
How about breast milk does it effect adults eye?
what credentials or testimonies do you have to prove this theory? that urine causes eye infections if inserted
Urine it is all the bad stuff that drains out of your system it take commen sense to prove that it is bad for your eyes
sometimes i wonder how people find the courage to do nasty things…like urine hmmmmmmm all in the eye….hmmm its terrible putting a body waste into the eyes…
I was told to put sugar in my eye is that true
Tea powder went in my daughter eyes.from that day she is rubbing her eyes.iys more than 15 days.what to do
I have heard that when people don’t want their eyes to burn after getting pepper or if they are swimming in chlorine they put a little bit of full cream milk in there eyes it will help
can i put peper n salt in my eyes
There was a recent news (2017) in Delhi about a kid who lost his eyes after putting breastmilk to cure pink eye. Here read it here:
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/health-fitness/health-news/Breast-milk-cure-for-sore-eyes-ruins-infants-cornea/articleshow/54506276.cms
So, the bottom-line is, putting anything in the eye can cause serious eye infections. So better stay away from stuff like saliva, urine, breast-milk, etc.
Well let me comment on the urine thing it’s a cultural thing. And I must say it worked. My first time getting pink u my mom told me to wAsh it with my own per. That’s when I was about 10. So I did that in two days it was all cleared up and I am making 45 years next month since then I NEVER got it again so it worked. I don’t k ow about the other shots u all TALKING about like lemon juice and food coloring. Now 5hat won’t fly.pee works end of story
I have been battling people putting sugar in their eyes to clear pink eye…please what could be the possible dengers
what about glycerine is it save on eyes and can it help
So is pure honey not good for eye infection/red eye.
Green tea to kill eye infection.
I know there is a type of eyedrop with steroids in them I had to use these after my p.r.k. surgery. My question is would it prove beneficial if I kept using it? From my understanding they was supposed to help in strengthening my eyes so if I got more and used it even though my eyes are healthy now would it make them better?
I used to have red eyes. But putting 2 drops of sugar water every night in eyes has made them white.
Can palm oil be put in the eye?

I have heard people say that breastmilk works for pink/red eyes. How true is this?
Now where i come from, it is believed that when you have conjunctivitis, waking up early in the moring without talking to any human, u pass out your first urine then use it to wash your face… The conjunctivitis dissapears in hours… Its spiritual… lol… So dont blame anyone with their believes… It has worked for some and it has also worked for people who believe in Medicine & Doctors… So pls everyone with their own believes… Thanks Doctor…
What about sugar solution for eye
I was told to put sugar water in my inching eyes… Is this true?
I can attest from.personal experience using my own urine actually cured a sty on my eyelid that kept coming back when I would use the prescription the dr gave me. I went to the dr on 2 separate occasions because the sty kept coming back after I took the medicine. I gave up when I got it again for the 3rd time and decided to use my own urine based off country folk tales. Low and behold after using my own urine for a week, it was gone. I haven’t had one since and that was 5 years ago.
My mom who was born in 1929 to Irish Immigrants had some old home Remedies. She used hot black tea bag wrapped in a wash cloth for Styes. I ask a doctor about it and he told me it’s the heat not the tea bag that helps. I don’t know but I still do it. When my son had really bad Colic nothing we did worked. Nothing the doctor did worked. Finally my mom was like let’s try this. She put a part of a candy cane in warm water. LOL It worked!!! Better than anything we or the doctor try. Thank you peppermint and mom!
