World Sight Day (October 9th)

Today is World Sight Day

Did you know that every 5 seconds someone in the world goes blind? The graphic below (courtesy of Sarah Keep, an optometrist in Canada) explores which areas are most at risk, what the largest causal factors are and who is intervening to help prevent loss of sight. It’s some food for thought on a day when we are all thinking about vision. Take a look and let me know what you think.
